10 Tips for Getting Repeat Traffic to Your Site
Here are a few tips for getting repeat traffic to your website.
1. Update your website content frequently. You may find your search engine rankings drop if your site it is not regularly updated.
2. Offer your visitors additional value when they come to your site by giving away a freebie for visiting. Visitors who subscribe to your newsletter/updates qualify for a discount if they buy your product, to thank them for their loyalty.
3. Add a link to your main page with a script ‘Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites’. I use Socialable you can get it free here or You might like to add a ‘Recommend this site to a Friend’ so that the visitor can email your website link, with a preloaded message, “ I Thought you might be interested in this”, just by clicking on it.
6. Add a “Contact Us” link to each page. You should also insert a “Privacy Policy” and “Earnings Disclaimer” to protect yourself against legal implications.
8. Create a FAQ page which addresses the most commonly asked questions.
9. Never spam your readers who have opted in for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Not only will you lose potential customers but your ISP may shut your site down.
If someone on your list decides they want to ‘opt out’ of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and remove them from your mailing list. Chances are they will return if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to spam them..
10. Installing an RSS feed on your site is a great way to inform your visitors about promotions, new articles, blog post etc without them having to actually log on to your site. RSS are easily accessible and unlike email which might end up as spam your readers can access them though their iGoogle or My Yahoo Page.

Hi Molamola,
Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate your feedback.
The whole idea of this blog is to help newcomers understand about online marketing.
I have rewritten the end of the post in question and hoping it is clearer.
Including an RSS feed on your site/blog your readers can subcsribe and read them in a newsreader such as iGoogle or My Yahoo. Your RSS feeds are more likely to be read than the same message sent by email which often ends up as spam.
Hope this helps.
Regards Auriana
